By submitting a manuscript to the Caspian Journal of Intelligent and Mechatronic Systems (CJIMS), authors acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions:
Originality and Exclusivity
- The submitted manuscript must be original and not published, in whole or in part, in any other journal or conference proceedings.
- The manuscript must not be under review elsewhere at the time of submission.
- Plagiarism in any form is strictly prohibited. Manuscripts will be checked using plagiarism detection software.
- The similarity (plagiarism) index must not exceed 25% excluding references, and no single source should contribute more than 10%. Manuscripts exceeding this threshold may be rejected without review.
Authorship and Ethical Conduct
- All listed authors must have made significant contributions to the research and approved the final version of the manuscript.
- Any change in authorship after submission requires written consent from all authors.
- Research involving humans, animals, or sensitive data must comply with relevant ethical guidelines and approvals must be documented.
Conflict of Interest
- Authors must disclose any financial, personal, or institutional conflicts of interest that could influence the research or its interpretation.
Data Transparency
- Authors should provide access to supporting data, simulation files, or codes upon reasonable request.
- Fabrication, falsification, or manipulation of data is strictly forbidden and may lead to article withdrawal and author blacklisting.
Peer-Review Process
- All submissions undergo double-blind peer review to ensure fairness and scientific rigor.
- Authors must not attempt to influence the review process and should respect confidentiality of reviewer comments.
Copyright and Licensing
- Upon acceptance, authors agree to transfer copyright to CJIMS or publish the work under the journal’s open-access license (depending on journal policy).
- Authors retain moral rights to their work.
Publication Fee
- Any applicable article processing charges (APCs) or publication fees will be communicated on the journal website. Payment does not influence editorial decisions.
Withdrawal and Retraction
- Manuscript withdrawal after peer review requires a formal written request and editor-in-chief approval.
- The journal reserves the right to retract published papers in cases of ethical misconduct, plagiarism, or data falsification.
Use of AI Tools
- AI tools may only be used for language editing and must not be used to generate fabricated content or data.
- Authors must disclose AI usage in the methodology or acknowledgments section.
Legal Responsibility
- The corresponding author is responsible for ensuring compliance with these terms.
- Any legal disputes arising from misconduct will be the responsibility of the authors.
